- When dolphin sleeps, one half of its brain is asleep while the other stays awake,
- A dolphin's body has the same temperature as human's,
- There are 33 species of ocean dolphins,
- Some dolphins live in rivers (there are 5 species of them),
- The dolphin's closest land relatives are pigs, cows, and deer,
- The orca (killer whale) is the biggest dolphin.
If you didn't know these facts, this collection will famirialize you with interesting titbits about these mammals that are popularly noted for grace, intelligence, playfulness, and friendliness to man.
