Minimum requirements

• Pentium computer or better (or equivalent)
• 16 MB memory
• 6 MB free disk space (more recommended for larger collections of learning material; for example, Advanced English requires 50 MB)
• SVGA with resolution 800x600 (higher resolutions recommended)
• Internet Explorer 6.0 (or newer)
• Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows XP (2000 or XP recommended) 
• SuperMemo 2002 is not compatible with Windows ME or Windows 95; please download SuperMemo 2000 to see the performance problems in Windows ME; similar problems reoccur in SuperMemo 2002

Additional requirements for special functions

• to use e-mail options in incremental reading: MAPI-compatible e-mail software for Windows (e.g. MS Outlook, Outlook Express, etc.)
• to use sounds and video: sound board (e.g. for Advanced English, Cross Country, Video English, etc.)
• to use collections distributed on CD-ROM (e.g. Advanced English): 12-speed CD-ROM drive
• to use editable mind-maps: Mind Manager 3.0 (or higher)
