The Window
submenu on the main menu bar
provides the following options:
- Cascade -
cascade windows one over the other (try Shift+F5 to see what it means)
- Tile vertical -
tile windows vertically (try Shift+F4 to see what it means)
- Tile horizontal - tile
windows horizontally
- Classic - arrange windows
in the manner known from early
versions of SuperMemo, i.e. with statistics windows conveniently aligned with the element
window. This
arrangement is useful when you make repetitions and like
to constantly follow the progress of learning. You can
make this layout permanent with Layout : Save as
default (below). You can also make SuperMemo
arrange windows in this manner only at the entry to
repetitions. For that purpose, check Classic
layout at learning available from Tools : Options : Learning
- Layout
- Save as
default - save the current layout of
windows as your default layout. Each time you
enter SuperMemo, this layout will be used
- Restore
default - restore windows layout last
saved with Layout : Save as default
(above)
- Program
default - restore the default windows
layout used by SuperMemo when you first run the
program. To make the default layout permanent,
you have to use Layout : Save as default (above)
- View
- Toolbar -
show or hide the toolbar
- Speedbar -
show or hide the speedbar
- Status bar -
show or hide the status bar
- Hints -
turn on or turn off displaying hints
- Next -
activate the next window on the SuperMemo desktop
- Previous -
activate the previous window on the SuperMemo desktop
- Arrange icons -
arrange icons on the SuperMemo desktop
